Amy Kotches
Owner/Senior Coordinator

Amy is a life-long resident of the St. Louis area and currently resides in Troy, IL with her husband, John, sixteen year old daughter, Katie and the family’s two cats, Buster and Tux.  Most of the time you will also find an exchange student in the home.  This year they are hosting another German boy.

Amy has always had an interest in weddings but after planning her own in 2003 it became a passion.  Her goal for every couple she works with is to help make their day nothing short of magical.  She says she feels a personal sense of pride and joy when she’s able to play a role in making a couple’s wedding day everything they dreamed it would be, and more.

Katie Chitwood
Lead Coordinator

Katie grew up near Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri and recently moved to St. Louis after obtaining her bachelor’s degree in International Business from the University of Missouri at St. Louis.  Although her degree is in an unrelated field, event planning is what Katie truly loves to do.

Katie got her start in this field when she was in charge of planning events for her sorority.  With them, she planned formals, mixers and fund raisers.  Katie began working with Engaging Events in early 2008 and is already considered to be indispensible!  Amy says she feels very lucky to have found someone who shares her love of weddings and truly understands the importance of the role they play in making a couple’s wedding day flawless.

Casey Fluegel
Assistant Coordinator

Casey is from Festus, Missouri but now lives in University City with her boyfriend, Tony and their “babies”, Scooby, Scrappy and Mocha.  Casey just recently joined the Engaging Events team and is eager to learn the ins and outs of coordinating a wedding.  Amy says the things she loves most about Casey are her attitude and energy and that these are just two reasons why Casey is so well liked by clients.

Zane Redfern
Assistant Coordinator

Zane is originally from Springfield, Illinois but has lived in St. Louis for the past fifteen years.  He works full-time as a regional director for a local nursing home chain.  Zane has been with Engaging Events since the very beginning.  Zane shines most in the area of event design.
